Scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for Young Researchers

st
Applications for the prestigious scholarship for outstanding young researchers are open until 31 December 2025. The programme administered by the Minister of Science and Higher Education is one of the most significant forms of recognition for individuals who — at an early stage of their academic career — already show an impressive research record and dynamic development.

Who may apply for the scholarship?

The competition is open to individuals who, on the date of submitting the application and at the moment the Minister’s decision is issued, meet the criteria of a young researcher.

Applicants who submit their application as doctoral candidates but complete their education in the doctoral school between the date of submission and the date on which the decision is issued may receive the scholarship only if, on the date the decision is issued, they:

  • are employed under an employment contract at a university as academic teachers who do not hold a doctoral degree

  • are employed under an employment contract in an institution referred to in Article 7(1) of the Act, as individuals holding a doctoral degree

How to submit an application?

Applications are prepared in the Integrated Science Services System / Financial Stream Management. Please note that:

  • the final PDF file generated from the system must be signed with a trusted electronic signature or a qualified electronic signature. The applications will be signed by the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, DSc, Eng.

  • Scientific Affairs Office will be responsible for electronically signing the applications submitted within the required deadline (applications should be sent to dsn@pg.edu.pl by 22 December 2025)
