Support for Members of the Gdańsk Tech Academic Community | Politechnika Gdańska

We recognize that such events may cause uncertainty, distress, or difficult personal circumstances for international students, doctoral candidates, and staff. The University remains committed to providing support and assistance to those who may be affected.

Members of the academic community can receive formal and administrative support from the Welcome Office at Gdańsk Tech, where dedicated staff provide guidance and assistance. The Welcome Office can be contacted at:

The University can also assist in arranging psychological support for individuals experiencing particularly challenging circumstances. Psychological consultations in English for students and doctoral candidates are provided by a psychologist employed by BORF. Appointments can be scheduled using a bilingual (Polish–English) booking form.

It is also possible to arrange interpretation of psychological consultations into Persian. Individuals interested in this option are kindly asked to contact:

Additional support can be obtained from the Crisis Intervention Center in Gdańsk. Individuals who require psychological assistance in English in a crisis situation are asked to send an email to:
goik@gdansk.gda.pl.
