The Civitronics Center is equipped with, among other things, a set for biaxial tensile testing of technical fabrics, a testing machine with an extensometer, a station for material and geometric defectoscopy of metal structures, a station for defectoscopy of steel wire ropes, a station for defectoscopy of paint protective coatings, a 3D terrestrial laser scanner with software supporting 3D modeling, and apparatus for testing asphalt and asphalt mixtures.

DIM workshop - Tefal:

  • testing of technical fabrics
  • testing of building composite materials
  • monitoring of objects for safety reasons

Laboratory of defectoscopic testing of structures:

  • non-destructive methods for assessing the safety condition of engineering objects in service, with particular emphasis on metal structures
  • design of control systems at the stage of production, assembly and operation of objects
  • inspection of the technical condition of existing objects undergoing modernization

Laboratory of geodetic monitoring of engineering structures:

  • collection of geodetic spatial data
  • 3D modeling of objects obtained from laser scanning
  • support of scanning with precise studies of digital photogrammetry

Laboratory of building physics:

  • studies of thermal stability of materials and structural elements
  • testing of basic thermal parameters of materials
  • studies of compressive strength of thermal insulation materials

Road research laboratory:

  • tests of pavement strength
  • testing of soils and aggregates for road applications or aggregates for road foundations
  • Measurement and construction laboratory for sensor networks and radio frequency identification systems:
  • measurements and analysis of high-frequency electronic systems related to sensor systems, signals transmitted and received by these sensors, as well as radio frequency identification systems and systems
