Meeting of the Team for the development of the CoARA Action Plan for 2026-2028 | Gdańsk University of Technology

The discussion focused on outlining the main priorities and possibilities to align institutional evaluation practices with the principles of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), particularly the shift toward more responsible, transparent, and diverse methods of assessing research and researchers. Gdańsk University of Technology, as a signatory of the CoARA Agreement, is obliged to prepare and implement such an action plan.

During the meeting, prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, vice-rector for research, prof. Ewa Lechman, dr Agnieszka Lendzion, prof. Adam Szymkiewicz, dr. Bartłomiej Mróz, dr. Bartosz Wiśniewski, Krzysztof Styn, Kareem Ayyad and Paulina Chobot. The meeting marked the first step toward preparing a structured action plan that will guide the university’s engagement with the CoARA initiative.
