"Universities of the Future" is an innovative project that is revolutionizing the approach to educating undergraduate students. The initiative is being carried out by a consortium of 12 partner universities, including Gdańsk University of Technology, in cooperation with the National Centre for Research and Development as the coordinating institution.

The project involves the implementation of a modern Personalized Education Model (PEM), which offers an alternative to traditional teaching methods. The concept is based on students' individual projects and close collaboration with the socio-economic environment. Participants in the program will receive support from mentors from both academia and business, funding of up to PLN 20,000, and access to specialized micro-courses and workshops on innovation, commercialization, and project management.

Moreover, thanks to the PEM, the study program will be adapted to the needs of the students – selected courses may be modified or even excluded in order to focus as much as possible on developing original ideas.

At Gdańsk University of Technology, the project is coordinated by PhD Agnieszka Lendzion from YRO.
