Gdańsk University of Technology invites early-career researchers, PhD and MSc students, to participate in our summer school on Advances in Functional Materials.
In 2022, Gdansk University of Technology joined the ENHANCE Alliance - an association of 10 European technical universities from Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and Poland (apart from Gdańsk Tech, Warsaw University of Technology is also a member of the Alliance from Poland). Together, the Alliance members form the so-called European University. What does this mean for Gdańsk Tech students, doctoral students and employees? Among other things, the opportunity to go to partner universities for studies, internships, summer and winter schools, training courses etc. One of such events is the upcoming summer school organized by the Advanced Material Center at Gdańsk University of Technology.
About the summer school
This edition of summer school is organized by Advanced Materials Center at Gdańsk Tech and will focus on the following thematic areas:
- Superconducting materials
- Photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic materials
- Materials for electrolyzers and fuel cells
- Electrochemical sensors
- Battery materials
- Conducting polymers
The participants will get an opportunity to follow our lectures and laboratory classes, and practice what they have learned under the eye of specialists in materials engineering.
When?
The summer school takes place between 1-12 July 2024.
Place and duration
The summer school will be conducted in two modes, on the campus and online, altogether 40 h of classes.
