Luminescence properties of glasses and glass-ceramics in the research work of our graduate | Gdańsk University of Technology

Karolina Milewska – graduate of the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology, scientifically affiliated with the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics, began her PhD training in the a.y. 2019/2020 under the supervision of prof. dr hab. inż. Barbara Kościelska affiliated with Institute of Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering.

She submitted and defended her PhD thesis in the discipline of materials engineering [IMa] entitled “Synthesis, structure and luminescence properties of borate-bismuth glasses and glass-ceramics doped with rare earth ions”.

She completed her PhD training in May 2024 (10 semester).
