Consultations at the Psychological Assistance Centre

Meetings with a psychologist are provided by the Psychological Assistance Centre and are available exclusively to students and doctoral students of our university. Consultations are held in a comfortable, confidential environment – in an office located right next to the campus1 – as well as online (also in English).

To schedule a meeting, please send a message from your university email address (name.surname@pg.edu.pl) to: anna.burkiewicz@gumed.edu.pl (The Centre responds to messages from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM).

NOTE! We kindly ask you to inform well in advance of cancelling an appointment with a psychologist - so that another student can use that slot.

Consultations with a psychologist-advisor

Every doctoral student at Gdańsk University of Technology has the opportunity to make an appointment for one-to-one consultation with a psychologist-advisor, Prof. Marcin Szulc. To arrange a meeting, please contact via email: marszulc@pg.edu.pl.

In urgent situations – 24/7 assistance

The Psychological Assistance Centre does not provide crisis intervention. In case of sudden crisis situations, please use the available forms of assistance:

  • MOPR Crisis Intervention Centre – assistance available 24/7.
  • Emergency Room – 24/7 psychiatric and psychological consultations
  • Clinical Emergency Department (KOR), UCK, Gdańsk, Mariana Smoluchowskiego 17 Street, Invasive Medicine Centre, ground floor.

Additional support – Office for Persons with Functional Diversity (Biuro ds. Osób z Różnorodnością Funkcjonalną (BORF))

The BORF Office offers assistance in the area of educational adjustments, social integration, and psychological support.
