Enrolments within the standard admission to the Doctoral School at Gdańsk Tech are launching on 27 April!

x
Dear Candidates,

Following the issuance of the Rector's Regulation No. 16/2026 of 20th March 2026 regarding the announcement of admission to the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology and the composition of admission committees for the academic year 2026/2027, below we publish information on the upcoming enrolments. The admission will be conducted based on the rules adopted by the Senate Resolution No. 175/2025/XXVI of 19th November 2025.

Start of admission and your tasks

Enrolments within the standard admission start on 27th April 2026 in the University's admission system. This is the time when you should:

  1. Create an account in the admission system.

  1. Upload the required documents (scans).

  1. Pay the admission fee.

  1. Submit (send) the completed admission form.

University's application system

Important: Two separate enrolments

We are launching two parallel but separate enrolments in the system. Choose the enrolment corresponding to the place where you completed your second-cycle or long-cycle (uniform master's) studies (obtained a master's degree):

  • for candidates with a master's diploma obtained in Poland,
  • for candidates with a master's diploma obtained outside Poland.

Choosing the wrong enrolment may result in the necessity to withdraw the application and losing the chance to participate in the admission if the proper deadline has already passed. Check carefully which path concerns you.

Disciplines, number of places and prospective supervisors

We offer tuition-free education in English in 14 scientific disciplines:

  • Social Sciences: economics and finance [EiF], management and quality studies [ZiJ].

  • Exact and Natural Sciences: chemical sciences [NCh], physical sciences [NF], mathematics [M].

  • Engineering and Technology: civil engineering, geodesy and transport [ILGIT], architecture and urban planning [AiU], environmental engineering, mining and energy [IŚGIE], materials engineering [IMa], mechanical engineering [IMe], automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies [AEEITK], information and communication technology [ITIT], biomedical engineering [IB], chemical engineering [ICh].

Lists of prospective supervisors and the number of places allocated to individual disciplines are available in the Lists of prospective supervisors tab. Remember that contacting a supervisor is the first step of admission.
