Exhibition "Regina Czapiewska. Encore" | Gdańsk University of Technology

We invite you to the opening of the exhibition "Regina Czapiewska. Encore", which will take place on 29 September 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Gdańsk Tech (Main Building, Hall in front of the Library).

Regina Czapiewska graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Gdańsk Tech in 1969 and was a lecturer at the Department of Painting, Drawing and Sculpture at the Faculty of Architecture from 1974 to 1983.

She spent her artistic life abroad, first in Algeria and later in Canada, where she achieved professional success. The works presented at the exhibition were donated to Gdańsk Tech Library by her husband, Jacek Czapiewski.

The exhibition features oil paintings from the "Filigree of Cities" collection, gouache paintings from "Neolithic Lesson", pastels from "Piranesi Spaces", and selected drawings from the "Algiers Sketchbook".

The exhibition will also include a multimedia presentation showing the story behind the donation and its transport by air and sea, as well as a biographical display dedicated to the artist.

The exhibition will be open until 7 October 2026.
