2nd meeting of the Young Researchers Team in the 2025/2026 academic year | Gdańsk University of Technology

During the meeting, information following the session of the team preparing the assumptions for the IDUB 2 project at Gdańsk Tech was presented. Opportunities to apply for the Minister of Science and Higher Education Scholarship for Outstanding Young Researchers were discussed. Information on the public consultations conducted by the Gdańsk Tech Business Hub regarding the update of the Regulations on the Management and Commercialisation of Intellectual Property at Gdańsk Tech, as well as on consultations concerning the draft Strategy for the Development of Higher Education was also provided. An important part of the meeting was devoted to a summary of the ENHANCE Workshops and the Young Researcher Day, which were assessed as valuable initiatives fostering the exchange of knowledge and experience, the integration of the international academic community and, importantly, the development of assumptions for subsequent joint projects within the ENHANCE Alliance. Special attention was also given to the issue of unethical publication practices.

The meeting was actively attended by the Vice-Rector for Research, prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz. His presence created an opportunity for direct exchange of views between the University authorities and representatives of the young researchers’ community.

The Young Researchers Office encouraged participants to follow its profile on the LinkedIn platform, where information about initiatives, competitions, events, and activities addressed to young researchers is published.

The next meeting of the Young Researchers Team will take place on 21 January 2026.
