Santander Award for students and doctoral students of Gdańsk University of Technology | Gdańsk University of Technology

Once again, Gdańsk University of Technology, together with Santander Bank Polska, has prepared a competition. For the first time, doctoral students of the Doctoral School and Industrial Doctoral School are also invited to participate.

The awards are a distinction and a form of financial support for students and doctoral students of Gdańsk University of Technology for their individual achievements.

We will award 30 prizes in the amount of PLN 2000 gross, including 5 prizes for doctoral students and 5 for students of the 1st year of first-cycle studies.

The formal requirements are to have the status of a student or doctoral student of Gdańsk University of Technology and:

- in case of students: average grade from the last semester of at least 3.5;
- in case of doctoral students: authorship of at least 1 cited publication from the period of education at the doctoral school published together with supervisor.

Award Criteria:

- average grade from the last semester (applies to students);
- the number of citations of publications published jointly with the supervisor during the period of education at the Doctoral School or Industrial Doctoral School;
- sports and artistic achievements, as well as social activities in 2022 and 2023.

The competition is divided into 2 stages:

- The first stage, application for the competition, lasts until April 18, 2023, takes place on the Santander Scholarships platform;
- 2nd stage, April 20-May 7, 2023 completing the application for achievements and attaching files confirming the achievements.
