First Young Researchers Forum with the participation of PhD students of the Doctoral School at Gdańsk Tech
The forum became a space for open exchange of experiences and discussion around the challenges and needs of young researchers, in areas such as:
- digital and didactic competences, universal design and green transformation,
- academic entrepreneurship, research and design work,
- information management, communication and organizational skills,
- teamwork in a psychological context.
During the workshop sessions, participants formulated a set of recommendations aimed at supporting the development of early-career researchers. Key needs identified included: training in AI ethics, enhancement of presentation skills, support for collaboration with the business sector, and the expansion of the Doctoral School’s curriculum with dedicated courses tailored to these areas.
The results of the event will be taken into account within the NCBR project entitled Teaching Excellence, and the ideas will be handed over to the relevant units at Gdańsk Tech, as well as used as input for the HR4R Strategy for the next two years.
