International Scientific Conference "Security and Cooperation in Europe"
Date: June 2, 2025 (Monday), 10:00–17:00 (CEST)
Venue: Online via Microsoft Teams
The aim of the conference is to analyse current threats and challenges to European security, foster international scientific cooperation, and exchange experiences in crisis management and conflict prevention mechanisms.
Participation in the event is free of charge.
To apply as a speaker, please submit an abstract of your proposed topic (200–300 words) by May 23, 2025, 23:59 (CEST). Selected abstracts will be announced shortly after the deadline.
All active participants will receive a certificate confirming their participation.
Each speaker will have 10 minutes to present their topic in English (preferred), Polish, or Ukrainian.
Suggested Topics Include (but are not limited to):
- Geopolitical and military challenges to European security.
- The role of international organizations and alliances in crisis management and conflict prevention.
- Legal frameworks and institutional mechanisms for the protection of human rights and humanitarian law.
- Hybrid threats, information warfare, and cybersecurity.
- Border security and migration in the context of international stability.
- Energy security and protection of critical infrastructure.
- The future of European security cooperation.
Participants are also encouraged to propose their own topics related to the theme of the conference, as well as to apply interdisciplinary approaches and submit proposals aligned with the event’s main theme.
