How Can a Foreign Alum Find a Job in Poland? (12.06)
In this episode, you will have the opportunity to meet Hussein Annan – a PhD student at the Doctoral School at Gdańsk Tech, scientifically affiliated with the Faculty of Architecture. He began his PhD training in the academic year 2023/2024 under the supervision of prof. dr hab. inż. arch. Lucyna Nyka from the Department of Urban Architecture and Waterscapes and dr hab. Carmen Anthonj from the University of Twente.
As an international member of the Gdańsk Tech community, Hussein received support in securing a paid internship – one of the many topics he will discuss during the event.
During the meeting, Hussein will share with you, among other things:

how he searched for a paid job with the support of the Careers and Alumni Office at Gdańsk University of Technology,

how he negotiated his salary with an employer,

whether the paid internship he completed helped him in his professional career,

what influenced his decision to pursue a PhD at Gdańsk University of Technology,
