NAWA STER scholarships for the best PhD students carrying out PhD projects in international cooperation - results | Gdańsk University of Technology

As of June 4, 2025, 11 scholarship applications were received, 7 of which were approved. Four applications were rejected - they did not contain substantive arguments that are taken into account by the regulations (publication with a supervisor, co-author from an institution/university in Europe, quartile, number of authors, IF).

As a result, the ranking list from June 9, 2025 looks like this:

Appeal procedure

According to the Regulations: "The ranking list will be made public within a week of the end of the application submission period. Within five days, PhD students will be able to submit written appeals to the STER Project Manager (via the STER Project Office), who, after considering the appeals, will announce the final list within the next five working days. No new documents supplementing the original application will be taken into account in the appeal process."

NOTE! Appeals in paper form can be submitted to the STER Project Office until June 16, 2025, between 7:00 and 10:30 a.m.

Appeals will be reviewed, and the final list will be announced by June 23, 2025.
