Mgr inż. Muhammad Kamran, MSc, Eng., is a second-year PhD student in the discipline of automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies [AEEiTK]. He is conducting his research under the supervision of dr hab. inż. Marek Turzyński.

What is the TOP 2% ranking?

The World's TOP 2% Scientists list, prepared annually by Stanford University and Elsevier, is one of the most prestigious rankings in the scientific community. It recognizes researchers whose publications have the greatest impact on scientific progress. The ranking is published in two distinct lists: Career-long Impact, which evaluates a researcher's entire scientific output, and Recent Year Impact, which focuses on citations from the past year, acknowledging current and dynamic contributions to research.

In this year's edition of the ranking, a total of 71 scientists from Gdańsk University of Technology were included, placing our university among the top institutions in the country.
