Additional call under the Francium program | Gdańsk University of Technology

Following decision of the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, we are opening an additional opportunity to apply for a scholarship under FRANCIUM competition.

All active doctoral students in their 3rd and 4th year of doctoral training are eligible to apply, as well as doctoral students who were granted an extension of their training to the 5th year due to COVID-19 related violations (this does not apply to other 5th-year PhD candidates).

Interested candidates may submit their application exclusively using the attached template, signed by the doctoral student and their supervisor, by email to: francium@pg.edu.pl, no later than 25 January 2026.

Doctoral students are kindly requested not to submit applications if:

1. they have already been awarded a scholarship;
2. they have submitted an appeal against a negative decision.

Applications submitted using a different template, not signed by the doctoral student and/or the supervisor, or submitted after 25 January 2026, will not be considered.
