How to respond to hate speech? A new guidebook by the Gdańsk Tech Doctoral Students' Self-Government
The Gdańsk Tech Doctoral Students' Self-Government has carried out the first edition of its Anti-Hate Campaign. The campaign culminated in the publication of the guidebook “Hate speech - how to respond and where to seek help”, which provides practical information for the academic community.
The publication includes guidance on recognizing hate speech, responding as a witness or as a person experiencing such behavior, as well as support resources available at Gdańsk University of Technology. The guidebook also highlights the importance of diversity, inclusion and well-being in the academic community.
We would like to congratulate the Gdańsk Tech Doctoral Students' Self-Government on this important and valuable initiative, which supports building an academic community based on respect, openness and mutual support.
