PQChips 2026 — Physics of Quantum Chips, 24–28 August 2026, University of Gdańsk
The subject is the physics of chip-based quantum systems: Berry phases, quantum Hall physics and topological insulators, nonequilibrium quantum transport, ultrastrong-coupling circuit QED, quantum photonic integrated circuits, quantum algorithms. The lecturers come from Genoa, Korea University, Calgary, Calabria, Salerno and Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Everything is in English.
Lectures start at the physical foundations and end on open research problems, so you can enter the field from scratch in a week and still see what the work looks like today. For doctoral candidates from other areas it is a chance to step outside their own discipline for a while.
Participation counts towards specialist course credits in the Doctoral School.
