Open Education Week | Gdańsk University of Technology

Open Education Week (7-11.03.2022) will be celebrated this year again at the Gdańsk Tech Library. This annual event is an opportunity for sharing and learning about open education initiatives worldwide.

Open Education Week was launched in 2012 as a community-built open forum for various educational institutions, community, technical, and vocational colleges, universities, organizations promoting lifelong learning, cultural organizations and others. The Gdańsk University of Technology Library promotes Open educational resources (OER) in two ways – by educating the local community about open education and by participating in the work of European Network of Open Education Librarians.

Gdańsk Tech Library has prepared for the upcoming Open Education Week 2022 the following activities:

• Incredible bookmarks – with a QR code (once the QR code is scanned, the user will be redirected to Gdańsk Tech Library with more examples of OERs ) on the one side and the other side with outstanding colouring designs (OER designs come from digital libraries); for new bookmarks and new set of beautiful crayons, visit us at the Lending Library in the Gdańsk Tech Main Library.
• Open Access and Open Educational Resources Information Desk:
