Open Access Week 2024 | Gdańsk University of Technology

International Open Access Week is celebrated all around the world each year. People and groups who support Open Access, as part of the Open Science movement, will celebrate and hold events. This year's theme is "Community over Commercialization," continuing from 2023.

Gdańsk Tech Library will present a series of events with topics related to open publishing, open science, and data sharing such as:

• webinars and consultations on OA publishing, and a database of publishing policies of Polish scientific journals created as part of the Bridge of Knowledge (in Polish).
• posts on Facebook 
• Open Access posters

This year, to promote our event, we want to include sustainability topics. Therefore, we will set up an information stand with staff from the Strategic Analysis Center who will discuss the Sustainable Development Goals and the idea of University Social Responsibility.
Location: Hall in front of the Main Library.
