All Fits Together! Puzzle Enthusiasts’ Meeting at the Library. Edition 3 | Gdańsk University of Technology

We invite all students and staff of Gdańsk University of Technology to the first edition of the Puzzle Enthusiasts’ Meeting at the Gdańsk Tech Library in the Main Building Reading Room.
The event will take place on Friday, October 10, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

This is a great way to start the new academic year in a light way, meet other puzzle lovers, and check how fun puzzling can be at the Gdańsk Tech Library!
It is also a perfect moment for 1st-year students to integrate, get friendly with the Library space (a place that will soon be an important part of student life), and meet new people in a relaxed, creative atmosphere.

What’s waiting for you?

• A special, limited collection of puzzles – the pictures come from our Library’s historic collections. The original graphics can be seen in the Pomeranian Digital Library, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.
• Feel the championship mood! You will have a chance to try puzzles that were used in the 1st National Puzzle Championship in Olsztyn – want to test your skills in this kind of competition?
• We puzzle with 500-piece or 1000-piece sets – alone, in pairs, or in teams.
• Many people? Perfect! We will split into small groups and see who finishes the picture first.
• Want to exchange? Bring your own puzzles and use the special puzzle swap and borrowing space.

The meeting takes place just before the international conference "Heritage Online: Digitization in an Era of Change" (13–14 October 2025). It is the best moment to discover how digital resources and cultural heritage can also inspire creative fun.

Participants who attend at least 3 out of the 4 planned Puzzle Enthusiast Meetings at the Gdańsk Tech Library this year will be entered into a prize draw – for a set of limited-edition, custom-designed puzzles created by the Gdańsk University of Technology Library. The puzzle features unique graphics selected from the Library’s historical collections and the Pomeranian Digital Library, and has been produced by Trefl.
