The Gdańsk Tech Library invites organised groups to join historical campus walks and library visits. It is a good opportunity to learn about the history of the university, see its most beautiful buildings, and discover modern solutions used in an academic library.

Walk around the historic campus

During the historical walks, led by guides from the History and Museum Collections Unit of the Library, participants can visit selected places on campus.
These include the Main Building (Senate Hall, Heweliusz and Fahrenheit courtyards, Auditorium), the Mechanical Laboratory, and the Chemical Auditorium.

Library visit

During their visit, participants explore the modern and welcoming spaces of the Gdańsk Tech Library, designed for maximum comfort in work and study. The tour showcases innovative solutions like book lockers, self-check stations, and acoustic booths, alongside dedicated facilities for users with special needs. Beyond the infrastructure, guides introduce the library’s extensive print and digital collections, as well as its diverse initiatives in supporting research and promoting science.

Guides also talk about the library offer, its print and electronic collections, and its research and outreach activities.
