Trial of the Knovel database with Knovel AI
From 24 March to 24 April 2026, there is a trial of the Knovel database with the Knovel AI component – a search assistant that helps find information using advanced AI methods. The trial includes the Knovel database, which offers 35 subject collections and gives access to specialized resources in engineering and technical fields, including material data and analytical tools.
During the trial, users can also explore AI-supported search features. This includes writing questions in a more natural way and getting more relevant results.
In addition, on 14 April 2026 at 14:00, there will be an on-site training about how to use the Knovel database. The meeting will take place at the Faculty of Chemistry and Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics Branch Library, room 2/10. The training will be led by Christian Vier. The program includes quick search, searching for properties of substances and materials, using alerts, and working with equations, tables, a unit converter, and interactive charts.
The training will be in English, with the possibility to ask questions in Polish.
