Erasmus+ Staff Training Week | Gdańsk University of Technology

From May 11–15, the international Erasmus+ Staff Training Week will take place, aimed at academic library staff and partner institutions. This will be the 10th anniversary edition of the event. Organized under the Erasmus+ programme, it focuses on sharing experience, developing professional skills, and strengthening international cooperation.

The five-day training will bring together participants from across Europe. As in previous editions, attendees will explore best practices in academic libraries and take part in workshops and thematic sessions.

The programme includes:

• opening and networking sessions, including participant welcomes and partner presentations
• expert lectures on academic libraries and current challenges in scholarly communication
• workshops and group work to exchange ideas and develop joint solutions
• study visits to learn about library operations and infrastructure
• networking meetings to build international connections
• cultural events showcasing the region’s heritage

Throughout the week, participants will enhance their professional skills, discover innovative solutions, and build relationships that can lead to future international collaboration.
