New acoustic cabins – quiet spaces for study and work

The Gdańsk Tech Library continues to develop its facilities, creating comfortable spaces that support learning and work.

We are pleased to announce that new acoustic cabins for students, doctoral students, and university staff have been installed in five branch libraries:

  • Faculty of Architecture Branch Library
  • Faculty of Chemistry and Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics Branch Library
  • Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics Branch Library
  • Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology Branch Library (Mech)
  • Faculty of Management and Economics Branch Library

The acoustic cabins are quiet and functional spaces designed for individual work, studying, and online meetings. Thanks to their sound insulation, users can focus on their tasks, make calls, or attend online classes without disturbing other library users.

Each cabin is equipped with comfortable sofas, a work table, adjustable LED lighting, efficient ventilation activated by a motion sensor, and power connections, including a 230 V socket and USB ports. Glass walls provide natural daylight, creating a pleasant and comfortable working environment.

We invite you to use the new acoustic cabins and discover the opportunities offered by the spaces of the Gdańsk Tech Library.
