The Association of University Libraries was founded in 2024 in response to the growing need for integration and representation of the academic library community. The Gdańsk University of Technology Library was one of its founders.
The aim of the organization is to support the professional development of librarians, raise the standards of library services, build a positive image of libraries, and represent their interests at the national level.
The Association initiates congresses, training courses, and projects aimed at integrating the library community and improving the quality of scientific services. Its members include both individuals and institutions.
