IEEE Workshops: search techniques and publishing aspects | Gdańsk University of Technology

Please join us on 27 November for an IEEE workshop consisting of two thematic sessions at:

• 10⁰⁰-10⁴⁰: Techniques for Effective Searching in the IEEE Xplore
• 11⁰⁰-12³⁰: How to Get Published with IEEE and Open Access at IEEE

The workshop will discuss search strategies on the IEEE Xplore platform and issues related to preparing an article for publication in IEEE in the context of improving the visibility of one's research. Including in detail:

• creating a search strategy for the best results using the IEEE Xplore platform,
• reviewing the editorial process, what to do and avoid when submitting and verifying the article,
• resources for IEEE authors,
• where to publish? Conference materials or a journal? How to choose?
• possibilities of publishing in IEEE Open Access.

The training sessions will be conducted by Eszter Lukács (IEEE Client Services Manager), and both events will be held at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics Branch Library in room NE 051 (Building B of the ETI Faculty).
