By bike to University campaign, which was aimed at everyone who cares about the environment and feels like changing their transportation habits.
From May 4 to September 30, 2022, more than 260 Gdańsk Tech employees registered their bicycle or scooter rides to and from work in a system specially developed by the Information Services Center, and in return received gadgets useful for daily bicycle travel. Employees registered a total of 11,867 trips and rode a total of more than 90,000 kilometers, which translates into more than twice the circumference of the Earth! The record holder of the campaign rode more than 3 thousand kilometers! As a result, the participants saved more than 10 thousand kg of CO2 not emitted into the atmosphere and did not burn 7200 liters of fuel. These are the most important environmental effects, which are a benefit to all.
