Almost 1,000 foreign students study at the Gdańsk University of Technology, 77% of whom complete full-cycle studies, and the remaining 23% participate in international exchange programs (mainly under the Erasmus + program).
The recruitment of foreign students (including people with a Pole's Card) is handled by the Department of International Academic Cooperation in cooperation with individual faculties and university units.
Foreign students can:
1.take part of studies at Gdańsk Tech under the Erasmus+ program (Polish and English)
2. complete first and second cycle studies at Gdańsk Tech (Polish and English)
3.sciences at the Doctoral School (English)
Moreover, the Welcome Office functions within the structure of the International Academic Cooperation Department. Its employees provide support to foreign students in the field of, inter alia, legalization of stay in Poland, registration, opening a bank account, etc. They also help by contacting a newly admitted foreign student with individual Gdańsk Tech units in organizational matters.
