Over 1000 foreign students from almost 60 countries from all over the world study at Gdańsk University of Technology. Some of them study within the Erasmus+ programme, others are on full-time Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Service for foreign students is provided by the Department of International Academic Cooperation in cooperation with departments and other units of the university.
Each incoming foreign student can count on support in the following areas, among others:
1. recruitment to studies (Erasmus+ studies, full cycle studies, Doctoral School)
2. legalisation of their stay
3. help with accommodation in one of Gdańsk University of Technology dormitories
4. help with choosing health insurance
5. help with creating an account on the Moja Gdańsk University of Technology platform, including a student e-mail address
6. help with producing a library card in Gdańsk University of Technology Library
7. information about language courses run by the Centre for Foreign Languages
8. psychological support (by helping to contact a psychologist)
9. information about student organisations active in Gdańsk University of Technology
10. information about cultural, entertainment and other events in the Tricity
11.information on public transport
12. information on places where student discounts are available
