Over 1000 foreign students from more than 70 countries from all over the world study at Gdańsk University of Technology. Some of them study within the studebt exchange programmes, others are on full-time Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Service for foreign students is provided by the International Relation Office in cooperation with departments and other units of the university.
Each incoming foreign student can count on support in the following areas, among others:
1. recruitment to studies (student exchange studies, full cycle studies, Doctoral School),
2. legalisation of their stay,
3. help with accommodation in one of Gdańsk University of Technology dormitories,
4. help with choosing health insurance,
5. help with creating an account on the MojaPG Gdańsk University of Technology platform, including a student e-mail address,
6. help with producing a library card in Gdańsk University of Technology Library,
7. information about language courses run by the Centre for Foreign Languages,
8. psychological support (by helping to contact a psychologist),
9. information about student organisations active in Gdańsk University of Technology,
10. information about cultural events in the Tricity,
11. information on public transport,
12. information on places where student discounts are available.
