[Candidates] Changes in the Chairpersons of the Admissions Committees

We would like to inform you that pursuant to § 6 para. 4 of the Rector's Regulation No. 21/2025 of 19 March 2025 on the announcement of standard and special admission to the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology and the composition of the admission committees for the academic year 2025/2026, the Doctoral School Director, acting at the request of the Scientific Discipline Board Chairs in Information and Communication Technology and Chemical Engineering, has decided to change the Admission Committees Chairpersons for the following disciplines: information and communication technology [ITiT] and chemical engineering [ICh].
Changes in the composition of the Admissions Committees

1. Information and communication technology [ITiT]

The new Chairperson of the Admission Committee is Joanna Szłapczyńska, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WETI), replacing Iwona Kochańska, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WETI).

The new composition of the Admission Committee:

  • Joanna Szłapczyńska, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WETI) - chairperson, contact person   
  • Jarosław Sadowski, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WETI)  
  • prof. Krzysztof Giaro, PhD, DSc, Eng., (WETI) – backup member   
  • doctoral students representative –Paulina Leszczełowska, MSc, Eng. 

2. Chemical Engineering [ICh]

The new Chairperson of the Admission Committee is Michał Szociński, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WCh), replacing Artur Zieliński, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WCh).

The new composition of the Admission Committee:   

  • Michał Szociński, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WCh) – chairperson, contact person   
  • prof. Anna Zielińska-Jurek, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WCh)   
  • Łukasz Piszczyk, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WCh)   
  • Donata Konopacka-Łyskawa, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WCh) – backup member   
  • Robert Tylingo, PhD, DSc, Eng., Gdańsk Tech Prof. (WCh) – backup member   
  • doctoral students representative –Afaq Hassan, MSc.
