Second edition of the OPEN UP! DARE TO! program – registration is open

International Realtions Office invites PhD candidates, students, and staff of Gdańsk University of Technology to participate in the second edition of the intercultural competence development program. This is a unique opportunity to overcome language barriers and open up to cooperation in an international academic environment.

The “OPEN UP! DARE TO! – VOL. 2” program consists of a series of free events – film screenings, meetings with special guests, and training sessions – which will take place in April and May on our campus.

Participation in the program is an ideal way to:

feel confident and comfortable when interacting with people from different countries and cultures,
overcome the barrier of speaking English (and other foreign languages),
understand how art, music, and film connect people from different backgrounds,
learn about the initiatives Gdańsk is undertaking to become a city of equality.

The first meetings are already scheduled for April 8 and 9, 2026. Participation in all events is free of charge, however, because the number of places is limited, registration is required.
