OPEN UP! Be curious about other people. DARE TO! Don’t be afraid to speak English.

Inter Hub invites staff, PhD candidates, and students to participate in the second edition of the intercultural competence development program titled OPEN UP! DARE YOURSELF! The program consists of a series of events – a film screening, meetings with special guests, and training sessions. All events will take place in April and May on our campus. This invitation is for anyone who wants to:

  • feel confident and comfortable when interacting with people from different countries and cultures,
  • overcome the barrier of speaking English (and other foreign languages),
  • explore how culture – music, film, theatre, and art – connects people from different backgrounds,

The program includes:

  • a film screening and a meeting with a film expert,
  • a meeting with a linguist,
  • a series of meetings with representatives of local NGOs and cultural institutions,
  • training sessions on intercultural etiquette and inclusive language.

Participation rules:

  • You can take part in the entire program (all events) or only selected meetings.
  • Film screenings and meetings with NGOs and cultural institutions are open to all – staff, PhD candidates, and students. Training sessions are intended for staff.
  • The number of places is limited, and registration is required.
  • All events will be held in Polish; some will also be translated into English.
  • Participation in all events is free of charge.
