The Informatization and Digitization Section is responsible for maintaining and developing the library systems of Gdańsk University of Technology, maintaining the IT hardware infrastructure of the Library, and carrying out digitization, archiving, and online access processes within the Pomeranian Digital Library.

Library Systems and IT Support
Tasks:

• implementing, maintaining, and managing IT systems that support the Library’s operations and information services,
• developing and enhancing services and applications that support the integrated library system and other systems used within the Library,
• providing technical support to Library staff and users,
• managing the inventory and administration of the IT hardware infrastructure used in the Library,
• collaborating with the Gdańsk University of Technology IT Services Center.

Digitizing and Pomeranian Digital Library
Tasks:

• digitizing and making Library collections available to the University, as well as contributing to the development of the Pomeranian Digital Library,
• coordinating tasks related to the implementation of the Pomeranian Digital Library partnership project.
