International Teaching Week (Germany) - registration until June 30

Esslingen University invites academic staff to participate in the "International Teaching Week", which will take place on November 27 - December 1. This is a great opportunity, especially for teaching staff interested in conducting classes at a foreign university. Registration for the event is open until June 30.

Esslingen University is located in southwestern Germany, in an economically highly influential region. Enterprises like Mercedes, Porsche, Bosch, Siemens, Mahle and Festo are situated close to its campuses.

On November 27 - December 1, Esslingen University invites academic staff to participate in the second edition of "International Teaching Week". As part of the event, participants will be able to conduct classes for students (and not only) in the field of business, IT or social sciences.

After being qualified for the event, the organizer will assign a Professor from Esslingen University to each participant who will be the participant’s "academic host" during the International Teaching Week.

In addition to lectures, the week includes a lively cultural and social program, for instance a guided city tour, a visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum, and a visit to the famous Medieval Christmas Market in Esslingen’s historic city center. The event will be held entirely in English.

Registration for the event

Applications to participate in the event are accepted until June 30 via the online form.

Participation costs

There’s no registration fee. Travel and accommodation costs may be covered by the Erasmus+ program of Gdańsk Tech. In order to obtain co-financing for the trip, persons qualified to participate in the event will have to submit an application for a trip for didactic or training purposes under the Erasmus+ program (here you can find a description of the mobility procedure under the Erasmus+ program).
