Important information for newly admitted international students
The International Relations Office would like to invite our international students who start their studies at Gdańsk Tech in October to take part in an information meeting, as well as other freshers’ events.

Hi!👋 We welcome you warmly at Gdańsk Tech and are happy that soon you will start your studies at our university. We encourage you to read some information about the upcoming events, which were prepared specifically with new international students in mind and are definitely worth participating in.



WELCOME MEETING / 30.09 / attendance is obligatory


•    For whom: for all students
•    Monday, 30th September
•    Location: Auditorium Novum, building no. 17 (See on campus map)
•    Meeting in Polish: 10am-11:30am
•    Meeting in English: 12am-1:30pm
•    There is no need to register in advance to take part in this meeting.

On the meeting, you will learn how to legalize your stay in Poland, how to get a health insurance and why it is worth having a Polish phone number, but also hear some interesting facts about cultural differences and receive a few practical tips on how to live in Gdańsk and in Poland in general.

After the Welcome Meeting, we invite you to join a campus tour led by students from our Student Council. We will meet at 2:00 PM in front of the Main Building. There's no need to register in advance to participate – just come along.


REGISTRATION WEEKS / 16-27.09 / attendance is obligatory


•    For whom: for all students, apart from those from the Erasmus+ program
•    16-27th September, Monday to Friday,
•    Location: Welcome Office building no. 11 (See on campus map)
•    When: everyday, from 10am till 2pm
•    This event is going to be in Polish and English.
•    To take part in this event, please select a date in the calendar and make an appointment in advance; each of our new international students got the link to the calendar by email.

During the Registration Weeks, new international students will provide the originals of the required documents to finalize the admission process.


TRIP TO GDAŃSK / 27.09 / optional


•    For whom: for all
•    Friday, 27th September
•    Meeting point: the square in front of the Main Building of Gdańsk Tech
•    Time: 2pm-6pm (collection at 1:45pm)
•    To take part in the walk, please register using this form; limited number of places, first-come, first-served
•    This event will be in English.

During the trip, students will have the opportunity to see the main attractions of Gdańsk: the Old Town and the central, historic part of Gdańsk, a football stadium, museums and other interesting places.


INTEGRATION GAME AROUND THE CAMPUS / 5.10 / optional


•    For whom: for all
•    Saturday, 5th October
•    Meeting point: the square in front of the Main Building of Gdańsk Tech
•    Time: 12am-2pm (collection at 12am)
•    To take part in the event, please register using this form; limited number of places, first-come, first-served
•    This event will be in English.

This integration game will be a great opportunity to better get to know the Gdańsk Tech campus and meet new friends from around the world.
