Open call for the PROM program. Apply by February 9

VISIT THE PROM PROGRAM WEBSITE
Let’s remind – last autumn, the International Relations Office, in cooperation with the Doctoral School and faculties, secured almost PLN 2 million from the National Agency for Academic Exchange to implement the PROM project. As a result, about 180 employees, PhD students, and students from Gdańsk Tech will be able to benefit from funding for international trips, while about 80 individuals from foreign universities will receive support for visits to Gdańsk. The project will be implemented until the end of September 2025.
First call for applications has begun
The program includes three recruitment rounds. The first round starts on January 30 and will last until February 9 (the next rounds will take place in the first half of March and then at the beginning of May).
The program is open to employees (academic staff, researchers, administrative and technical staff), PhD students, and students from all faculties, regardless of their year of study.
Under the PROM program, it is possible to apply for funding for activities such as attending a conference, winter/summer school, training, a research trip, or gathering materials for master's, doctoral, or research theses. Duration of the trip: from 5 to 7 days.
- The PROM program significantly expands the range of opportunities for international trips previously offered, such as through the Erasmus+ program - says Anna Modrzejewska, Head of the International Relations Office.
The funding you can apply for covers the following: a scholarship, accommodation and meal allowances, and travel expenses. Additionally, the program may cover registration fees for events like conferences or training sessions.
Anna Modrzejewska: - It’s important to remember that the PROM program supports not only outgoing trips but also the arrival of foreign staff, PhD students, or students. This is a great opportunity for those who would like to establish or deepen cooperation with colleagues abroad. We would like to note that the application for participation in the program on behalf of the foreign guest is filled out by an employee or student of Gdańsk Tech, not by the invited guest themselves.
How to submit an application?
Applications for the program can be submitted online. Additional documents must be attached to the application form, including a consent for travel and an invitation from the host institution (for outgoing trips), and consent from the head of the unit (for the arrival of foreign guests). The deadline for submitting applications is February 9. The results will be announced by February 19. The recruitment regulations and links to the application forms can be found on the program's website.
