Admission for Erasmus+ program for employees is now open

What’s new in the Erasmus+ program?
The main changes in the Erasmus+ program, which will apply until the end of the 2024/2025 academic year, are:
• introduction of four recruitment rounds instead of continuous recruitment;
• introduction of application assessment criteria: applications from the following individuals will be rated higher:
- those who have not previously participated in the program,
- those whose application pertains to a trip directly related to their work at the university,
- those whose application concerns a trip related to cooperation within the ENHANCE alliance,
- those who themselves host foreign guests within the Erasmus+ program and organize/co-organize staff weeks, summer schools, and other events at the university under Erasmus+ and other programs.
- The changes in the Erasmus+ program we decided to implement are primarily aimed at ensuring the best quality of the trips, encouraging mobility among employees who have not previously had such an opportunity, and developing cooperation within the ENHANCE Alliance – says Maria Doerffer, Erasmus+ University Coordinator.
How to apply?
Four recruitment rounds are planned until the end of the current academic year. In the upcoming round, applications can be submitted until February 14 (next rounds: until April 14, June 14, and July 14).
Applications should be submitted via the online form available in the GdańskTech Internet Request System. The following documents must be attached to the online application:
- Mobility Agreement for Training or Mobility Agreement for Teaching, signed by the dean or director/manager of the unit and the Erasmus+ faculty coordinator (if applicable) – as confirmation of consent for the trip;
- Confirmation of consent for the arrival from the partner institution (unless the partner institution has already signed a Learning Agreement – if not, please send, for example, a scanned email confirming the invitation from the partner institution);
- New – the application for the trip, available here: Template application for training and teaching mobility_Erasmus+ (docx, 20.42kB)
The applications will be evaluated by the recruitment committee, which will consist of: the Rector’s Representative for International Educational Programs, the Head of the Scientific Affairs Office, and the Erasmus+ University Coordinator. The committee will consider the applications within two weeks of the recruitment deadline.
Detailed recruitment rules, including the scoring system for evaluating applications, can be found in the document: Rules for recruiting employees for training and teaching trips_Erasmus+ (pdf, 144.93kB)
