About the course

This intensive course combines online and on-site phases, focusing on reactor physics calculations using both Monte Carlo and deterministic methods. Participants will learn to:
✅ Understand the principles, approximations, and limitations of the methods
✅ Apply them in modern simulation environments
✅ Compute and analyze key quantities for PWRs and BWRs
✅ Use results to evaluate and improve reactor core design

Format & Certificate

  • Assessment: 25% asynchronous + 75% synchronous activities

  • Certificate awarded for ≥ 50/100 points
