Regional NAWA–EURAXESS Network Meeting at Gdańsk Tech | Gdańsk University of Technology

Representatives of institutions from across the Pomeranian Voivodeship gathered to discuss current initiatives and future directions of cooperation supporting researchers and their families.

The meeting was opened and moderated by Monika Czerepak, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Centre at Gdańsk University of Technology.

The programme continued with presentations delivered by:

• Magdalena Sawicz, Director of the Cooperation and International Relations Office at the University of Gdańsk, Leader of the MOSAiC project

• Monika Zaremba, Coordinator of the EURAXESS Poland Network at NAWA

• Ewa Kiszka, Head of the Internationalisation Office at the Medical University of Gdańsk

The meeting was also attended by representatives of institutions engaged in internationalisation and academic support, including:

• Academy of Music in Gdańsk – Milena Tyburcy, Aleksandra Paciorkiewicz

• Invest in Pomerania – Karolina Nawrocka-Mucha

• Marshal’s Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship – Katarzyna Biełuszko, Marta Dzierżawska, Beata Widera, Marta Zatorska, Paulina Sieradzan

• Centre for Support of Immigrants and Immigrant Women – President Karolina Stubińska

• Cooperation and International Relations Office, University of Gdańsk – Joanna Zakrzewska, Marlena Rutkowska-Myzyk, Anna Żebrowska

• Medical University of Gdańsk (GUMed) – Dr Jacek Kaczmarek, Officer for Relations with International Alumni, Małgorzata Polak

• International Cooperation Centre, Gdańsk University of Technology – Alicja Szostek

The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration between institutions involved in internationalisation, fostering integration within the academic community, and enhancing support for both Polish and international researchers. The meeting provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and for outlining the next steps within the regional NAWA–EURAXESS Network.
