The University of Gdańsk invites you to participate in the national conference “Cooperation Without Borders – Building the Regional NAWA–EURAXESS Network”, organised within the framework of the MOSAiC Project (EURAXESS Initiative). The conference will take place on 25–26 March 2026 at the Main Library of the University of Gdańsk (Wita Stwosza 53, Gdańsk, Poland).

The event will serve as a platform for dialogue and exchange of experiences on the future of internationalisation in higher education and research. In the context of dynamic systemic and global changes, particular emphasis will be placed on the quality of international cooperation, researcher mobility, equality and inclusiveness, as well as on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for international researchers, students and doctoral candidates.

Gdańsk — a port city with a long tradition of openness and international cooperation — will provide the setting for discussions on strengthening regional and European networks supporting the academic community.

Conference themes include:

  • European Universities as sustainable networks of cooperation,

  • HR Excellence in Research (HRS4R): from strategy to real institutional change,

  • equality, inclusiveness and diversity management in academia,

  • Welcome Culture in practice,

  • the role of students and doctoral candidates in building inclusive universities.

An integral part of the programme will be a strategic workshop aimed at developing a shared vision for the development of the regional EURAXESS network in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, as well as strengthening synergies between universities, local authorities and institutions supporting the internationalisation of research and higher education.
