The event is aimed at researchers, students, and anyone interested in interdisciplinary collaboration and sustainable development. It offers an opportunity to exchange knowledge, gain inspiration, and discuss the practical implementation of transdisciplinarity in research and education

At Gdańsk Tech, an event dedicated to the development of transdisciplinary research will take place. The meeting, titled “Advancing Transdisciplinarity at Gdańsk Tech,” is scheduled for 19 May 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Faculty of Management and Economics (Room 110/111) and will be held in a hybrid format.

The program includes two keynote presentations: “Towards the Professionalization of Transdisciplinary Researchers for Sustainable Futures” and “Implementing Transdisciplinarity: From Concepts to Institutional Practice.” The speakers, PD Dr Bianca Vienni-Baptista and Dr Kathrin Wieck, will share their experience in applying transdisciplinary approaches in research and institutional practice.
