Staff Week on PhD Mobility at RWTH Aachen University – Call for Participation | Gdańsk University of Technology

The programme combines a short virtual component with an on-site week in Aachen from 30 November to 4 December 2026. It is designed for administrative staff working in International Offices, Erasmus+ coordination, and other areas supporting doctoral candidates and mobility initiatives.

The Staff Week will address a range of topics related to doctoral mobility, including temporary doctoral exchanges, different mobility formats, funding opportunities for PhD mobility, mobility within European University Alliances, and support services for incoming doctoral candidates.

In addition to sharing experiences and best practices, participants will have the opportunity to expand their professional networks, strengthen institutional partnerships, and engage with colleagues from higher education institutions across Europe. The event also offers a chance to experience Aachen during the festive pre-Christmas season.

Participation is limited to approximately 25 attendees, with a maximum of two participants per institution, ensuring an interactive and collaborative learning environment. Participants are encouraged to seek funding through Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training (STT).

Interested colleagues are invited to submit their applications via the online application form. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application no later than 31 July 2026.
