Summer Korean Language and Culture Program in South Korea – Invitation for Students
The Summer Korean Language and Culture Immersion Program will take place from August 3 to 14, 2026, and is designed for students with no prior knowledge of Korean.
The program has been developed for university students who are new to the Korean language. Participants will learn the basics of Hangul, essential greetings, and everyday expressions useful for daily communication. Language classes will be complemented by a variety of cultural activities and workshops, providing students with first-hand experience of both traditional and contemporary Korean culture.
The program includes a K-pop dance workshop, a hanbok photo session, traditional Korean calligraphy (Seoye), a tea ceremony (Dado), and Korean cooking and kimchi-making classes. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience Taekwondo, one of Korea’s most famous martial arts.
An important part of the program is the opportunity to explore some of the region’s most popular destinations. Students will visit Busan and its famous Gwangalli Beach, as well as the historic city of Gyeongju, home to renowned cultural landmarks such as Bulguksa Temple and Cheomseongdae Observatory.
Accommodation will be provided in on-campus dormitories, with three meals per day included. Another highlight of the program is the chance to interact with Korean student buddies who will help participants experience campus life and Korean student culture.
