Project Title: Strengthening Gdańsk University of Technology's potential within the ENHANCE Alliance
Project Aim
The main objective of the Project is internationalisation of Gdańsk University of Technology by pursuing activities that are synergistic and complementary to the initiatives undertaken by the ENHANCE Alliance, of which the University is a member since 2022. The Project also lists specific objectives, namely:
- strengthening Gdańsk University of Technology as a new member of the ENHANCE Alliance;
- an increase in the quality of education thanks to solutions developed in cooperation with the ENHANCE Alliance partners, including:
- expansion of educational offer – both in terms of curriculum development and system of microcredentials;
- increased student, PhD student and staff mobility;
- deepening of scientific research cooperation.
Project Recipients
The activities planned in the Project will be addressed to the following groups of recipients:
- administrative staff of Gdańsk University of Technology and partner universities directly involved in the delivery of tasks in the ENHANCE Alliance;
- early career researchers and experienced researchers from Gdańsk University of Technology and partner universities;
- teaching staff from Gdańsk University of Technology and partner universities;
- administrative staff of Gdańsk University of Technology and partner universities not directly involved in the delivery of tasks in the ENHANCE Alliance;
- students and PhD students from Gdańsk Tech and partner universities;
- representatives of Gdańsk Tech authorities and representatives of authorities at partner universities;
Planned Activities
Within the Project, the following activities will be undertaken:
- student and PhD student arrivals/departures for three-month internships or research at/from the ENHANCE Alliance partner universities;
- development of the activities of the ENHANCE Alliance within professional staff development;
- development of the activities of the ENHANCE Alliance within sustainable development;
- meetings of the members of the various teams active within the ENHANCE Alliance, including those responsible for: IDE (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity) issues, communication and scientific research cooperation;
- meetings of the representatives of the Steering Committee, the Operational Office and Core Officers responsible for activity management within the ENHANCE Alliance;
- summer schools for Gdańsk Tech students;
- developing the Certificate in Higher Education Teaching Programme and the Certificate International for Employees.
