The Erasmus+ programme offers students from Polish and foreign universities the opportunity to access a system of student loans for master's studies abroad. The second-cycle studies to which the applicant has been admitted must lead to a diploma (vocational title second-cycle studies).

Who can apply for a loan?

A student loan may be applied for if the student fulfils all the following conditions:
1. has completed at least a first cycle of studies (Bachelor's/engineering  degree)

2. has been accepted for a Master's degree at a university in another

programme country and holds an Erasmus University Charter

3 . reside in one of the programme countries

The loan scheme does NOT cover students qualified for Erasmus+ mobility for study and/or placement to complete part of their study programme abroad. Only students who have individually undertaken a full second cycle study abroad can apply for a loan.

Amount of the loan

Banks and agencies will lend to students on more favourable terms: interest rates are lower than in the market and repayment starts up to two years after graduation, so that graduates can start repaying the loan when they are already working.

Loan amount: up to EUR12 000 (one-year M.Sc. programme) and up to €18,000 (two-year M.Sc. programme).
