During the session, we will focus primarily on discussing the possibilities of covering APC (Article Processing Charges) costs resulting from license agreements concluded by Gdańsk University of Technology with individual publishers.

Thesis online – a doctoral dissertation based on articles in the Bulletin of Public Information and repository

Training for PhD candidates who want to learn how to legally and effectively share their doctoral dissertation composed of a collection of scientific articles. During the training, participants will become familiar with the rules for making a doctoral dissertation available in the form of a set of published and thematically related scientific articles (so-called "stapled theses" or "compilation theses") in the Bulletin of Public Information (BIP) and in MOST Wiedzy repository. Topics covered include:

  • characteristics of "stapled theses"
  • rules for online sharing
  • overview of guidelines from selected publishers
