On September 30, 2024, the Rector of the Gdańsk University of Technology, prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Wilde, nominated the Young Researchers Team for the term 2024-2028, composed of:

The Team's most important task is to take actions to identify and eliminate barriers that limit the development and hinder the work of young researchers at Gdańsk Tech. The Young Scientists Team is an advisory body to the Rector's College and is involved in the implementation of tasks in the IDUB project, among others, related to the management of the activities of young researchers and the resolution of conflicts of interest arising between young researchers and their scientific environment.
Young Researchers Office
In order to support young researchers at Gdańsk University of Technology, as of February 1, 2024, the Young Researchers Office was established as a central administration unit in the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research division. The Office - by design - initiates and conducts widely understood activities for young researchers, including doctoral students, supports the implementation of their grassroots initiatives, and coordinates the activities planned in the HR4R Strategy of PG. What exactly the Doctoral Students’ Self-government does?
- representing the University's doctoral students before the University's bodies and other institutions;
- supporting doctoral students in asserting their rights against the authorities of the University and other institutions;
- expressing opinions on behalf of the University's doctoral students’ community;
- participating in the work of the University's bodies and collegial entities - through their representatives;
- participating in making decisions concerning doctoral students' matters;
- conducting and supporting activities in the field of doctoral studies, including cultural, social, educational and scientific activities;
- participating in the work of doctoral organizations, in particular of the National Representation of PhD Students.
